Transfer Student Orientation

ON-CAMPUS ORIENTATION SESSIONS:

• October 2: 12:30 - 4 p.m.
  
• November 3: 9 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
  
• December 16: 5:30 - 8:30 p.m.
  

As a new member of the Cardinal family we have several opportunities to make sure your transition into this community is a smooth one.  Your first step will be to attend an on campus Transfer Student Orientation.  The orientation programs are 3.5 hours and will take place once a month at the main (Belknap) University of Louisville campus. There is a $40 orientation fee that you will need to submit when you register for your orientation.  Registration for orientation will be available Oct. 15, 2009. You must attend one of the orientation sessions and schedule an appointment with an academic advisor from your major area BEFORE registering for classes. Priority registration for transfer students who have completed the orientation and advising requirements is November 4, 2009.  (Students who live more than 2 hours away from the University of Louisville MAY be given special permission to complete the orientation online in place of attending the in person program. Times for the program will vary depending on what session you attend. Please plan to park in the Floyd Street Garage (entrance across from the children's playground on Floyd Street). DO NOT PARK IN THE VISITOR PARKING/PAY LOT. View directions to campus.
