- Do I have to complete the online orientation?
YES, all transfer students must complete the online orientation components and assessment with a 70% or better before making an academic advising appointment. - What do I need to do now?
Register for the online orientation at admissions.louisville.edu/orientation. Wait 2 business days then log on to the transfer orientation blackboard shell. Review the online modules and then complete the assessment with a 70% or better. After 2 business days you will be able to contact the academic advising centers and schedule an appointment with your advisor. - Why do I need to complete the online orientation?
The information you will review through the online orientation will be the foundation you need to meet with your academic advisor. The online orientation will cover details related to general education, graduation requirements, academic support services and UofL academic technology. The second part of orientation is an on campus event for you to meet with representatives from across campus. Student organizations, campus services, intramural sports, parking and the Cardinal Card Office will all be included in the schedule for the day. - When can I register for classes?
You must first complete the orientation registration process at: admissions.louisville.edu/orientation. Next you must review and complete the online assessment on the transfer orientation blackboard shell. Once you complete the assessment with a 70% or better you will be approved to meet with an academic advisor from your unit. After you meet with your academic advisor you will have permission to register for classes starting November 10, 2008.
