IT'S HERE...IT'S SROWTIME IN THE 'VILLE!

Welcome SROWers of Region VI-NODA,

We are totally amped to be hosting the Southeast Region Orientation Workshop for the National Orientation Directors Association (NODA). The theme is SROWtally 80’s in The Ville. All of us at UofL think you will have a radical time during our conference March 12-14, 2010. If you have never been to SROW, you can look forward to ridiculous levels of school spirit, fun competitions, and outrageous educational sessions that will surely send you back to your campus with new ideas and initiatives to implement into your orientation programs. You may notice a few changes to our annual schedule including a graduate school fair, the freedom to come and go between conference hotels and utilize all amenities, events on multiple college campuses in Louisville, and a SROW On a Budget website that will have the 411 about how to spend less on your trip.

SROW is always a primo conference with time to meet new people from other institutions and share some of our best ideas from our own campuses. We are in knee deep in the planning stages for SROW 2010 but have some details listed on this website. Conference registration will begin late November 2009; however, you can book your hotel rooms now. Be sure to reference SROW when you call the hotel. Do not let this opportunity pass you by! You don’t want to be a SROW wannabe…get into the SROWtally 80’s spirit….it’s happen’en at UofL.

Later dudes,
