GRADUATE/PROFESSIONAL MENTOR PROGRAM:
Is your resume ready for placement? Are you prepared to take on professional conferences and market yourself in a competitive environment? Take advantage of this opportunity to get advice as you prepare to enter the field as a new professional in student affairs. Mentees will benefit from resume consultations and tips on how to stay ahead of the curve. Mentors will have the opportunity to develop a relationship with a new professional and give back to the field of student affairs. RESUME SUBMISSION:
Submit your resume through our site to give access to dozens of potential employers from across the southeast who will be attending SROW. Getting you name out their early will give you a head start on job placement and allow you to connect with employers in advance. If you haven’t done so already, you can get feedback on your resume through the graduate and professional networking program. Please plan on having your resume polished by 3/1/2010 for it to be available to all the employers attending SROW. Talk with your mentor to make sure it’s discoball-shinny and perfect!
