  4. Why does my child have to spend the night? We live in Louisville.
We want our incoming students to have a unique and common experience and have the opportunity to make important connections with classmates. Programs run late into the evening and begin early the following morning. Also, the safety of our students is of utmost importance, and requiring that they remain on campus helps us maintain this safe environment.

  7. How safe will my child be staying on campus overnight?
Students are assigned to a room with another student attending Orientation and stay on gender specific wings of Miller Hall.
