Student Spotlight: Ally Bowman

On-campus involvement: Current Vice President of Institute of Industrial Engineers and Treasurer of Zeta Tau Alpha.  In the past, she has served as the Assistant New Members Chair and Service Chair of her sorority.
Outside Involvement: Big Brothers Big Sisters
Current Internship: Brown Forman, working in supply change and supply planning, Ally manages inventory at different warehouses across the country.
Favorite things about being a Louisville Cardinal: “It’s a big school, but it’s still small enough to  where you can get great opportunities and excel."  From working at University Phonation freshman and sophomore year, Ally was not only brought out of her shy comfort zone, she had the opportunity to a film a YouTube video for UofL.  She also had the honor to give a speech at her high school, introduced by President Ramsey.
Favorite Class: Sport Psychology; learned a lot about motivation
After Graduation: Attending graduate school for systems engineering and working in a hospital as an Industrial Engineer.
Favorite Teacher: Dr. Usher, because "he was very helpful when I was undecided about which engineering discipline to follow."
