Adult Applicants (Students 25 and older)
Continuing Studies is a non-degree granting unit for adult students. Admission is available for those applicants who are 25 years-of-age or older and have a high school diploma or GED. Test scores or other credentials are not required. Applications that are in a dismissal status from the last college of attendance will be required to petition.
Students may enroll in a maximum of 6-8 credits each semester. Upon earning 24 semester hours of at least 100 level work, students may transfer to degree-granting unit. Post baccalaureate students taking specific courses to gain entrance into their graduate program are eligible to apply for aid. Military veterans are not eligible to receive veteran's educational benefits while enrolled in Continuing Studies. For additional information please contact Continuing Studies at 502-852-6703.
1. Complete the Application for Undergraduate Admission. Please designate your major as Continuing Studies.
2. You do not need to pay the Application Fee of $40 US dollars because there is no formal review of credentials.
3. Submit your official transcript(s), if applicable. Applicants with previous college work must not have been in a dismissal status from the last attended institution of higher learning.
