About the Dual Credit Program
Since the program started in 1981, it has grown substantially. Beginning in seven schools, the dual credit program provided few class choices that were mainly taught by UofL part-time faculty to an average of 150 students. Currently, this program is in twelve public and one private high school providing a multitude of courses taught by a mix of part-time UofL faculty in addition to high school adjunct instructors to an average of 340 students yearly. This translates to an increase in student dual credit participation of 6.4% annually.
