KCTCS Academic Transfer Scholarship

The University of Louisville offers an academic scholarship for transfer students. The scholarship is open to KCTCS and Ivy Tech Community College, Sellersburg students who transfer to the University of Louisville. The scholarship application deadline is March 15, 2010.  In order to apply, students must:

•    Have 40 or more transferable hours at the end of the spring semester. The 40 transferable hours cannot include developmental or technical coursework.
•    Have a 3.25 transferable GPA at the end of the spring semester. The transferable GPA cannot include developmental or technical coursework. Your transferable GPA will include all colleges attended.  If you previously attended UofL your grades and hours will be included in the transferable GPA.
•    Submit all official transcripts and a complete application for admission as a degree-seeking student no later than March 15.
•    Complete a University of Louisville KCTCS Academic Transfer Scholarship application by March 15.
Please note: students may apply if they currently do not have a 3.25 transferable GPA or 40 transferable hours but anticipate they will at the end of the spring semester.

Awards are merit-based and typically range from $500 to $3,000 per year for Fall 2010 and Spring 2011. All eligible students will be awarded.
