ULEAD - Guaranteed Entrance to Dentistry

ULEAD recognizes the achievement of scholars committed to a career in dentistry.  If awardees participate in programing, maintain a designated GPA, and achieve the required score on the DAT, they are automatically admitted to dental school upon completion of their bachelor's degree and pre-dentistry requirements. ULEAD is open to both in-state and out-of-state students.  Ten scholars are selected each year, and interviews are scheduled in March.

ULEAD applicants must:

• Have a 30 ACT or 1330 (CR + M) SAT
• Have a high school GPA of 3.75 on a 4.0 scale
• Graduate high school in 2010
• Submit a personal statement on a career in dentistry

• Submit letters of recommendation:

- Two letters from teachers
- One letter from a community member

• Submit documentation of at least 12 hours of observation of dental practice
