Guaranteed Entrance for Communication Art and Design

The Communication Art & Design (CA&D) studio art track is a professional preparatory program leading to a bachelor of fine arts degree. The program is intended to prepare students to eventually assume leadership positions in the field of graphic design.   Admission to the program is competitive, and guaranteed early admission gives students an assurance they will be admitted to the BFA track for CA&D.

• 24 ACT or 1090 SAT (CR and M)
  
• 3.2 GPA
• A portfolio which shows potential as an artist and demonstrates an aptitude for perceptual and conceptual development
• One-page essay discussing the role that graphic design plays in contemporary society
• Two design problems
