For fall 2008, WGS will award a limited number of scholarships (up to $5000) for students continuing in or newly admitted to the program. Scholarships will be awarded by the Graduate Admission Committee of WGS based on a combination of merit and need. The Committee will consider all admission materials and work to date to determine merit and will rely on the UofL Office of Financial Aid to determine need. 

To apply for a scholarship, you must:

• have completed application materials for the Women's and Gender Studies M.A.
  
• have a FAFSA on file with the UofL Office of Financial Aid
• complete a Tachau Scholarship application form (also available in the WGS office, or you may request that we mail you a form)

Application deadline is May 15, 2008. Your application materials must be complete and your FAFSA on file with the UofL Office of Financial Aid in order to be considered for this scholarship.
