From Crisis to Care: Behavior-Based Intervention Strategies
Crisis to Care (CTC) is
a nationally recognized crisis-intervention program used by
schools, police officers, educators and private citizens
around the country. This CTC workshop covers the
psychological and physical interventions that can most
effectively be used to deescalate angry, out-of-control or
acting-out individuals. Participants will also learn
strategies for prevention and management of a crisis. The
CTC program is values based, research guided and action
oriented. It is the first program to focus on the underlying
biology of the brain in crisis as it relates to behavior on
the parts of both the acting-out person and the
interventionist.
Social Worker CEUs are available through our
